Pat Riley resigned as the Miami Heat's head coach, but will stay as team president. Erik Spoelstra, a former Heat assistant, will replace him. Spoelstra will keep Ron Rothstein, Bob McAdoo, and Keith Askins as the assistant coaches. Spoelstra is 37 years old.
