Locally based players for Bafana friendly
A friendly is on the cards for Bafana Bafana, they will play Zambia on the 27th of January at the Atteridgeville's Super Stadium.
The team's coach Joel Santana is set to choose players that are all locally based, however as the game is a friendly practice game no international caps will be given.
This will give Santana a good opportunity to see what he has as he will be looking to build his squad for the Confederations Cup in June.
The Brazilian will begin selecting players on Thursday when he meets with his technical team.
The players that will be make up the core team are likely to all be from the PSL. The likes of Kaizer Chief's goal keeper Itumeleng Khune and Siphiwe Tshabalala as well as Golden Arrows goal dynamo Bernard Parker could feature in the team. However Parker's availability is dependent on his possible move Sebian Club Red Star Belgrade.
Some good news for Ajax Cape Town players,! Mabhuti Khanyeza, Brett Evans and Nazeer Allie could find themselves in the squad. Khanyeza has been performing well for his club scoring numerous goals as they challenge for the league.
